The Workshop Objective:
The goal of the workshop is to address moving nanotechnology from the laboratory to industry-floor manufacturing. The workshop will address current developments and successes in transitioning research into commercial products and serve as a forum for industry, academia, and small business to interact and collaborate. Among the issues addressed:
- Technical barriers to scale-up?
- Technical barriers to integrating nano-elements with micro- and macro-structures?
- Societal impact (economics, environment, ethical, regulatory, etc.) of nanomanufacturing
The workshop will also feature a special session on nanotechnology developments in Canada.
A poster session is planned and table-top exhibits will showcase our sponsor companies.
